Mission Statement

To inspire, involve, and equip individuals with special needs  through the introduction of culinary skills.

OUR STORY

Elizabeth’s Place was founded upon the lifelong dream of Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Steele to make a difference in the world by helping others. Following a mission trip to Haiti where she worked closely with young children in need, Beth felt even more compelled to make her dream come true and offer the same assistance she provided to the people of Haiti to those in need in her own community.

As a trained chef with a deep desire to help special needs young adults, the concept behind Elizabeth’s Place was born. By using her culinary skills and knowledge, as well as the talents of others, her organization would help special needs young adults learn new kitchen skills that would both engage them and provide them the knowledge and understanding they need to become viable members of the local community workforce.

Today, Elizabeth’s Place new facility will provide training, love, and support to those in need.
